Friday 13th February

OUR TITLE SEQUENCE AND SOAP OPERA 

Today i finished all my evaluation and work for this project. It took all week to do as there was lots of stuff to stick in my portfolio and lots of evaluating to do! 

Monday 9th

Today we HAVE FINISHED!!!!!!!! WAHOOOOOO

its such a relief as we have been working on this project for ages and have come across loads of problems but we have done it now:D:D 

Hollie and katie went to hollies to film the finding the pregnancy test scene which didn't take to long then we uploaded the footage and added the clips to the 2 minutes. We watched it through lots of times and and tweaked it a bit until we had done as much as we could and were happy with it.

Friday 6th February

Today we filmed a few close-ups of A.J to vary the shots a bit more. We completed the title sequence and we are very pleased with it! Now all we need to do is complete the 2 minutes which shouldnt take too long as we have most of it completed and this will hopefully all be completed by the end of monday which is the deadline ! wowza

Wednesday 4th February

While putting the soap opera together we realised we had a lack of clips so adam and me came up with a plan! We filmed a clip of A.j and Cameron talking about what was happening between amy and a.j. We thought this was a good idea as it lets the audience know a bit more about the situation between them as it wasnt so clear. When uploading the footage we realised we didnt use enough varietys of shots for example we could have done with some close-ups. So we plan to try and get a few closeups of this. We then pretty much finished the title sequence but still need to add a few more things in!

Monday 2nd February

We carried on with the title sequence as we had to start again in order for the music to match the images. This took quite a while and we had to make sure it fitted perfectly and was effective. We finished most of the title sequence off and also continued putting together the 2 minutes of soap opera. This was also quite hard as we had to make sure everything was perfect and fitted together making it look realistic and entertaining.

Friday 30th January

The day before we had changed the title sequence soundtrack as this was not suitable for the conventions of a british soap. We created our own theme tune on garage band which took about 2 hours! So today we put the new soundtrack with the title sequence but realized that the images and clips didn't fit with the pace of the music so we had to start again. We will finish this next lesson.

Wednesday 28th January

Happyyyy birthdayyyyy to Hollie!! :) woop wooooop

Today we added more clips to the title sequence and started to put together clips for the 2 minuted os the soap. For the title sequence we have to be careful as we can only have about 30 seconds so we have to make sure we don't go over this limit which is difficult as we have a lot of images and clips we wanted to include. 

Unfortunately we had a technical difficulty and lost our title sequence and the start of the 2 minutes of the soap. The technician is trying to sort this out so hopefully we won't have to redo it!

In the next two lessons today we plan to do a bit more filming with Katie and Suj at and outside Hollie's house! Hopefully by the end of today we will have the filming finished!
